Aye, aye, aye...season 4 is THE shittiest season of The L Word...there's almost nothing salvageable about it, save for an intriguing new romance between Alice and Captain in the National Guard, Tasha. The atrocities: 1) the introduction of "Papi," who is basically a latina Shane, minus the charms and looks. Sigh, Kate Moennig...2) Jenny Schecter shedding any ounce of perspective and humanity seemingly gained from seasons 1-3 and becoming a psycho-bitch on the hunt for revenge because of one lousy review from a critic. 3) Bette getting it on with some deaf engineer/artist student(?) played by the lovely Marlee Matlin. This whole storyline just feels so faux and manufactured. 4) Shane suddenly mommying it up when she's forced to take care of her younger half-brother. It's nice to see Shane's maternal side, but anyone even semi familiar with TV history is aware that adding children to established ensembles rarely makes for great TV and is often the catalyst for a show "jumping the... The fashion trend that refused to die, despite having the death knell for it sounded as long ago as 2006, may finally be seen off by reports by podiatrists and pharmacists that the sheepskin-lined, structureless bootees cause sprained ankles and raging fungal infections. Ugg bailey button.Hasan Ukra of Boots states that the "moist atmosphere" that Uggs cultivate leads to athlete's foot, while podiatrist Linda Hawkins claims that wearing footwear without any heel or sole support causes ankles to twist more easily. Certainly, devotees of the Ugg bailey button sheepskin boots have a trademark walk: a splayed-foot shuffle that, coupled with the almost ubiquitous takeout coffee cup, bears quite a resemblance to a tramp looking for a handout.
